Special events that utilize Melbourne public streets require permits issued by the City Clerk's Office.

St. Patrick's Day Festival

Date:  March 16 & 17, 2024

Hours:  March 16, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m.; March 17, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m.

Road Closures:  New Haven Avenue, between Municipal Lane and Livingston Place, along with portions of Vernon Place, Waverly Place and Grant Place will be closed on March 15 at 6:00 a.m.   All other street closures will occur at 6:00 a.m. on March 16.

Location:   Downtown Melbourne as depicted on the map. 

Parking:  A fee of $10.00 will be charged for parking in the City-owned parking lots. Paid parking in all City surface lots will begin immediately following the St. Patrick's Day Parade during event hours on March 16 and March 17.
