Candidates with passing scores (and scores equal to the lowest of these passing scores) will be allowed to advance to the next step in the hiring process. Applicants listed below have successfully completed the written test and have qualified to participate in the Physical Abilities testing.  

The Physical Abilities test will be held on Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Melbourne Fire Department Training Center, 1980 Hughes Road. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Testing begins at 9 a.m. Completed Physical Fitness Waiver forms are required to participate in any activity on the training grounds. 

Candidates are reminded to bring their own PPE gear — helmet, bunker coat, bunker pants, gloves, boots, and hood. Some gear may be available at the training center for candidates to borrow and/or share use. Candidates who have difficulty finding gear can contact the Fire Department’s Training Center, (321) 608-6201, to determine if a required item is available. Applicants borrowing gear from the training center should arrive by 7:30 a.m.
