Special events that utilize Melbourne public streets require permits issued by the City Clerk's Office.

Pirate Plunder 2 Miler Run

Date:  April 6, 2024

Hours:  The 2-Mile run will begin at 6:30 p.m. and conclude by 7:30 p.m. 

Road Closures:  Waverly Place, between New Haven Avenue and the north property line of 2101 Waverly Place, will be closed from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on April 6.  The run route (Waverly Place, Melbourne Avenue, Bignonia Street) will be closed from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Location:   The pre- and post-event area will take place on Waverly Place and in the parking lot of Melbourne Eatery Management, LLC, 801 E. New Haven Avenue.  The run will occur on Waverly Place, Melbourne Avenue and Bignonia Street. 

Parking:  City-owned parking lots will be paid parking at a fee of $10.00 per vehicle.
