Special events that utilize Melbourne public streets require permits issued by the City Clerk's Office.

Eye of the Dragon 10K and Tail of the Lizard 2 Mile

Date:  February 16, 2025

Hours:   The race begins at 7:00 a.m. and will conclude by 10:00 a.m.  Post-event activities will continue at the Eau Gallie Civic Center through 10:30 a.m.

Road Closures:  Lane closures will begin at 5:30 a.m. and continue through 10:00 a.m.  The run route includes Pineapple Avenue, between Eau Gallie Boulevard and Hiawatha Street, and the Eau Gallie Causeway (outside westbound lane).  Expect delays.

Location:   The pre-and post-event area is located at the Eau Gallie Civic Center.   Both runs will begin and end at the Eau Gallie Civic Center.
