The Melbourne Police Department is excited to host our Annual Kids' Fishing Clinic on March 8 at Ballard Park! This fun-filled community event connects kids with officers through fishing while teaching them about wildlife conservation, habitat preservation, and fishing regulations.

Kids will learn tackle techniques, knot tying, casting, and more! Once they complete all educational stations, registered children receive a free fishing pole and enjoy a day of fishing with officers at beautiful Ballard Park in the Indian River Lagoon.

Ages: 5-15 (for free fishing pole registration)

Time Slots:

• 9 a.m.
• 10:30 a.m.
• 12:30 p.m. 

Registration is ONLY required to receive a free fishing pole. The event is open to all ages!
