Every year the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) sponsors the “Drop Savers” Water Conservation Poster Contest for students from kindergarten through eighth grade. 

Students are encouraged to create a poster depicting a water conservation idea, in slogan form, drawing form, or both. 

The contest allows students to promote water awareness and the importance of water conservation in their daily routines. 

The winners of each division will be honored during a City Council meeting and will receive a $50 Target gift card and a certificate.

Non-winners will receive a $20 McDonalds’s gift card. 

The winners will also go on to compete at the state level in the Florida Section of AWWA.

Entries are due March 3.
