Wickham Park Community Center
The Wickham Park Community Center is an 18,000-square-foot building with full-size gymnasium, a small room, medium room, and large room for classes and rentals.

American Kenpo Karate
Mondays, 5 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Our unique training program incorporates target pads, Kata, sparring and self-defense techniques to develop your martial arts skills.
Cost: $30 Per Month
Ages:
- 5 Years and older for the 5 p.m. class.
- 10 Years and older for the 6 p.m. class.
Basketball League – Adult
Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
January 22, 2025 – April 16, 2025
A long-running, competitive, Wednesday evening basketball league for adult hoopers. It is a 10-week regular season plus two weeks of playoffs to crown a champion.
Cost: $400 per team (no individual sign-ups)

Baton and Dance Class – Tiny Tot
Mondays, 3:45 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
A fun class offering an introduction to baton twirling, dance, and acrobatics with an emphasis on developing coordination, rhythm and memory skills.
Cost: $45 per month
Ages: 3 - 4 years old
Baton and Dance Class – Beginner
Mondays, 4:15 p.m. – 5 p.m.
An energetic and fun combination class offering baton twirling, dance and acrobatics. Stress is given to performance and entertainment as well as dance technique. We also use props such as streamers, pom poms and hula-hoops.
Cost: $45 Per Session
Ages: 5 years and older

Mondays, 5 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
An intermediate-level, fun combination class offering baton twirling, dance and acrobatics. Stress is given to performance and entertainment as well as dance technique. We also use props, such as streamers, pom poms and hula-hoops. This is for students who have already taken the Level 1 Class.

Big City Basketball – FUNdamentals

Big City Basketball – RUNdamentals
Mondays, 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Class Dates: March 31, 2025 – May 5, 2025
Learn passing, shooting form, dribbling and ball handling in the full court setting. We will even teach you to tuck in your shirt . You'll be on your way to becoming a real player, big city style!
Cost: $120 per six-week session

Dog Obedience – Advanced
Tuesdays, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Class Dates: March 11, 2025 – April 15, 2025
Six-week class teaching advanced obedience skills. Student/dog teams will have the opportunity to test for their AKC canine good citizen or community canine title.
Cost: $115 per session
Dog Obedience – Basic
Tuesdays, 7:15 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.
Class Dates: March 11, 2025 – April 15, 2025
Six-week class where puppies will work toward their AKC start, and adult dogs will work toward their AKC canine good citizen title.

Homeschool Art and P.E.
Wednesdays, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
A time of structured fun for children. The first hour the children work on their creativity by designing the craft of the day. Then, in the second hour, they make their way into the gym to enjoy games in our gymnasium.
Cost: $4 per class

Star Lotus Zumba
Mondays, 6:45p.m. – 7:45p.m.
Ditch the workout and join the party! Zumba combines Latin and international music with a fun workout. Mixing low and high intensity moves for a calorie burning dance fitness party.
Cost: $7 per class or $50 punch cards for 10 classes
Adults 18 and older. Children ages 8-11 must be accompanied by a guardian. Teens 12-17 will require parent authorization/release.
Tap Dance – Adult
Tuesdays, 5:15 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
Dance is the number-1 best exercise for healthy aging! Focus on basic technique, fitness, fun. All skill levels. Short routines to challenge the brain and improve balance, endurance, muscle strength and flexibility.
Cost: $7.50 per class or $30 per month

Toddler and Me Enrichment Classes
Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
Join us for stories, music, crafts, sensory activities and open-ended play-led by a pediatric speech – language pathologist. Explore new themes for each class and learn tips to support child language development at home.
Cost: $20 per class

Toddler Open Gym

An open play time for your toddler that includes slides, a bounce house, blocks and so much more!

Ueshiro Shorin Ryu Karate

We focus on Kata and prearranged sparring to develop self-defense skills. We offer traditional training methods that will foster growth in strength, stamina, confidence and overall health. All classes are structured for beginners and advanced students combined.

A Hatha style yoga class focusing on stretching, core strength and balance. Suitable for all skill levels from beginner to advanced.

Teddy Bear Tea Party
Saturday, May 3
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
This tea party will provide a great opportunity to connect with your child while enjoying a light lunch and tea. Your child will enjoy working on an arts and crafts project, getting a treat from the candy bar, or one of our other surprises. Space is limited, pre-registration is required. Register online, over the phone or in person beginning April 14. Don't forget your teddy bear!
Cost: $10 per adult/$5 per child

Rental contracts and payment requirements must be completed:
- Private Event: 14 days prior
- Public Event: 30 days prior
- Small Room (410 sq. ft.): $15 + tax/hr. with 3-hour minimum. Refundable Damage Deposit: $25.
- Medium Room (840 sq. ft.): $30 + tax/hr. with 3-hour minimum. Refundable Damage Deposit: $75.
- Large Room (1600 sq. ft.): $50 + tax/hr. with 3-hour minimum. Refundable Damage Deposit: $100.
- Gymnasium (10,000 sq. ft.): $70 + tax/hr. with 3-hour minimum. Refundable Damage Deposit: $300.
- Kitchen: $74 + tax/day
The participant must initiate all requests for refund/transfer of fees. Parks and Recreation will provide a “Request for Refund” form to individuals when they request a refund or transfer. Refunds take approximately three to four weeks to process. The form must be completed, signed, dated and returned to the Recreation Office at the Community Center where the class was located in accordance with the refund schedules:
- Class/Athletic Fees/Summer Camp/Swim Lessons: Refund requests must be received in the Recreation office at least seven days before the starting date of the class or program. There will be a $5 per class/program administrative charge on all refunds.
- Memberships/Passes/Daily Fees/Activities, and Special Events/Shows: No refunds.
